Supported Training & Employment Project
“We are here for you!”
STEPS is a new domiciliary support service for elderly people
living in the borough of Richmond.
Our mission is to provide our clients with support that will enable them to remain in their own homes and the local community.
STEPS has been set up to provide employment opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, We have created a training course, “Introduction to Health and Social Care”, for our workers and are delivering this in partnership with RHLT (The People Hive in Twickenham)and Richmond & Hillcroft Adult Community College. This course has been designed to give them the theory to underpin their work as well as to gain practical knowledge to help them develop the skills they need to work with our clients.
Tasks that we can support with include
· Domestic tasks (House work & cleaning)
